Position:Audit Manager
About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and can lead a team to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
What You’ll Need:- 7+ years’ experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA license (required)
- Master’s degree in accounting
- Strong technical expertise across a variety of accounting and auditing issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-demand projects at once
- Experience supervising and mentoring a team
- Professionalism and poise with clients and staff, even in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and other accounting software
- Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish – including planning, budgeting, staffing, and client communication
- Review work prepared by your team before it goes to the partner, aiming for minimal revisions
- Provide clear feedback, training, and support to staff to help them grow and succeed
- Identify risks during engagements and develop strategies to address them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence
- Spot opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to pursue new business opportunities
- Represent the firm in professional and community networks
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as needed
