Senior Accountant; Remote

$36.00/hr - $42.00/hr

• Manage accounting transactions and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain and enforce proper accounting processes; update documentation as business needs evolve.
• Perform core accounting functions: prepare audit financial schedules and assist with audit planning, review and streamline internal controls and processes, and perform other related duties as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Key skills: payroll, GL accounting, Net Suite, advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in Net Suite (or similar ERP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Strong research, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Payroll accounting.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Journal entry preparation.
• Month‑end and year‑end reconciliations.
• General ledger (GL) accounting.
• Revenue and accounts receivable.
• Flux analysis.

This pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. The actual compensation may be higher or lower and will be determined based on various factors such as education, experience, and performance.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remain in Kforce's sole discretion until paid.
