Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager

If you like being trusted to do high-quality work, want a stable team with almost no turnover, and want a life outside of March and April, this is a role worth exploring.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- You would prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, estate and trust returns, along with compilations, and review of financial statements. No audits.
- You would have genuine client responsibility and the space to work like a grown‑up.
- The office expectation is 1x per week in Columbia, MD, on Tuesdays.
- Tax season is controlled rather than chaotic. Expect around fifty hours a week. Partners do fifty‑five and consider anything above that unnecessary. Extra hours earn comp time.
- 7+ years of experience and a CPA license are ideal.
- Estate and trust experience helps but is not essential.
- Signing experience is nice to have, but not required at day one.
- EA candidates can be considered at the Senior level, but a CPA is needed for review work.
