Certified Public Accountant [CPA] – Tax Preparation & Resolution

ECG is a national tax resolution and accounting firm serving clients in all 50 states. We specialize in helping individuals, small businesses, and micro‑business owners resolve tax matters and remain compliant. We are seeking a motivated CPA to join our remote team and grow into a key advisory role.

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for nationwide clients
• Manage multi‑state income and sales tax compliance
• Work directly with clients, providing clear, practical tax guidance
• Organize and manage workload efficiently while mentoring assistants
• Handle and support IRS and state tax resolution matters, including notices, audits, collections issues, installment agreements, and penalty abatement requests
• Participate in the firm‑sponsored Main Street Certified Tax Advisor Program by Mark J. Kohler, gaining access to advanced tax strategies and the Certified Tax Advisor Network

• Active CPA license in good standing
• 3+ years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Working knowledge of multi‑state tax issues
• Strong client communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work independently and lead support staff when needed
• Prior experience with IRS and/or state tax resolution matters strongly preferred

• Performance bonus: $5,000 – $10,000 annually
