Staff Accountant​/Financial Analyst

The world’s leading producer of fine and ultrafine wire has a new opportunity for a full time, Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Boscawen, New Hampshire.

Working within a small accounting team of seven, reporting to the Controller, supporting a local $140 million manufacturing environment.

• Full charge bookkeeping with primary responsibility for sales reporting, fixed assets, cash management, State property tax, inter-company billings, certain purchase / inventory accounting, periodic P&L variance analysis, account reconciliation and schedule preparation for year-end audit process
• Cost accounting or 401(k) administration experience a plus
• Special projects as identified by the Controller or VP Finance

• Ability to understand and document trends between periods and clearly explain variances to management
• Technical ability to understand and retain accounting principles in accordance with USGAAP
• Strong understanding of inventory (Costing, FIFO) and fixed asset accounting in a manufacturing setting
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and within a small team
• Discipline to meet monthly and quarterly deadline demands
• Attention to detail to ensure consistent quality output
• Skills manipulating data in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and/or other tools

• On-site work, with remote work possible on an exception basis.

• Bachelor Degree or better in Accounting, relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
• Five plus years progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting, with title and compensation commensurate with experience
