Indirect Tax Accountant
Our client is seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant who brings a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset to support complex, multi-jurisdictional tax operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing precision with problem-solving, thrives under deadlines, and can translate technical tax data into clear, reliable outcomes. The right candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable working across teams and with external partners to keep filings accurate and compliant.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must be located in Pennsylvania.

• Prepare and support global indirect tax filings, including sales & use, VAT/GST, property, and similar taxes.
• Complete regular reconciliations of indirect tax accounts within the general ledger.
• Organize, track, and help resolve correspondence and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain documentation to support internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external tax advisors on filings, research, and special projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting environment.
• Strong working knowledge of indirect tax concepts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, detailed data sets.
• CPA or progress toward certification, advanced tax education, and Vertex O Series experience are preferred.
