A leading accountancy and audit firm in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing audit team in Cleckheaton
.

This is a client-facing role with exposure to a varied portfolio of businesses, providing excellent career progression opportunities and training in technical and commercial audit work.

This position is ideal for candidates with ACA or ACCA qualifications looking to grow their audit career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role

As Audit Senior
, your responsibilities will include:

Managing and delivering audits for a varied client portfolio
, including owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and SMEs

Reviewing audit files and financial statements prepared by junior team members

Liaising directly with clients to provide excellent service and support

Planning and executing audit work to ensure it is completed accurately, on time, and in line with firm standards

Assisting with training and mentoring junior staff

Supporting business development by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities

Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
, or near completion with significant audit experience

Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting

Excellent client management and communication skills

Commercial awareness with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments

Positive, professional, and proactive attitude
