Senior Accounting Officer

Overview

Employment Type: Full Time - Remote

We are looking for a Senior Accounting who is experienced, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
.

This role requires strong accounting judgment, the ability to analyze transactions independently, and confidence in making day-to-day accounting decisions that support the company’s financial position.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including:
• General ledger
• Journal entries
• Adjustments and period closing
• Analyze transactions and determine the appropriate accounting treatment based on accounting principles and business context
• Perform accounting adjustments when necessary to ensure accurate and beneficial financial reporting for the company
• Review expense classifications and ensure proper cost allocation
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiency and expense optimization through financial and accounting analysis
• Prepare financial reports and insights to support management decisions
• Support management in:
  • Cost control initiatives
  • Exploring financing options (bank loans, debt instruments, or investor support)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Act as a key accounting reference within the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor
• Strong understanding of:
  • Journal entries
  • Expense classification
  • Accounting adjustments and closing processes
• Able to make accounting decisions independently with limited information
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced and growing environment
• Proficient and experienced in using AI tools such as GPT or Gemini to support daily work, research, and workflow optimization
• Experience in F&B, retail, distribution, or multi-entity companies is a strong advantage
