Accounting Assistant

Working Hours:

US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Full-Time, Remote Work.

• Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain financial records and ensure all entries are properly documented and reconciled.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.
• Prepare and assist with various financial reports, statements, and schedules as needed.
• Handle inquiries related to billing and payments, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

• Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  Bachelor s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Bookkeeping/Accounting role or related field.
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems (e.g., Quick Books, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
