About the job

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. You ll be responsible for accurately processing invoices for payment, reconciling supplier accounts and resolving any problems preventing invoice payment. You ll work with external suppliers and internal Screwfix colleagues to ensure invoices are processed in line with our compliance & payment terms.

• Process invoices for payment accurately and timely
• Reconcile supplier accounts
• Resolve problems preventing invoice payment
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal colleagues to ensure compliance with payment terms

Interviews may be held by phone or video, followed by a store visit to meet the team.
