North Mountain Construction is seeking a permanent, full‑time Accounting Coordinator to join our growing Finance team. This role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reporting across multiple divisions in a fast‑paced construction environment.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail‑oriented professional who enjoys working collaboratively, managing high‑volume data, and contributing to accurate and timely financial operations. This position works closely with internal teams to support smooth project and payroll execution while maintaining confidentiality and precision.
What You’ll Be Doing- AR invoice entry over 2 divisions
- AR reporting, including follow up on outstanding invoices
- AP data entry over 4 divisions, including job and non‑job costing in a construction environment - Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- AP reporting
- Monitor and organize shared AP e‑mail inboxes
- Bi‑weekly payroll as part of a team
- Review and approve timesheets
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Assist with year‑end payroll tasks
- Other duties as required
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
- Experience will be considered
- 2–4 years of bookkeeping experience, in a multi‑division or construction environment an asset
- Experience with AR and AP processes
- Job and non‑job costing an asset
- Intercompany transaction experience an asset
- Proficiency with accounting software, and high accuracy in data entry
- Comfortable managing shared AP inboxes and high‑volume data entry
- Prior exposure to bi‑weekly payroll processing
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of payroll and financial information
- Team oriented mindset
- Clear and professional communication skills
