Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an  experienced Intermediate Accountant  to join our expanding team. We are a close-knit firm committed to delivering  high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services  to our clients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage bookkeeping and finalisation of accounts  for Australian clients.

· Perform  bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and regular financial reviews .

· Handle  EOFY payroll finalisation and STP compliance .

· Prepare  financial statements for Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships .

· Prepare and lodge  Income Tax Returns  for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships.

· Prepare and lodge  BAS, IAS, and GST returns .

· Provide  Xero software training and support to clients .

· Respond to  client bookkeeping and accounting software queries .

· Communicate directly with clients to resolve queries and ensure timely completion of engagements.

· Liaise with the  Australian Taxation Office (ATO)  and other government departments when required.

Required Skills & Experience

· 4–5 years of experience  in an Australian accounting or taxation role.

· CA qualified or currently pursuing CA  (preferred).

· Strong  accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills .

· Excellent  verbal and written communication skills .

· Proficiency in  Microsoft Office Suite .

· Experience with  payroll processing , including  awards-based payroll and EBAs .

· Strong  attention to detail and data accuracy .

· Ability to  adapt and learn new accounting software and technologies .

Software Experience
Experience working with the following platforms is preferred:

· Xero

· MYOB

· Quick Books

· Xero Practice Manager

· Class Super
