We are a growing full service CPA accounting firm in Markham, Ontario, providing assurance, accounting, and tax services to various industries across Ontario. What you will be responsible for:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities using software such as Quick Books Online, Quick Books Desktop, and Xero

Performing transaction classification, general ledger maintenance, HST filings, WSIB filings, and payroll processing

Assisting with month-end bookkeeping and account reconciliations maintenance

Following up with clients on information requests and deadlines

Communicating with the Canada Revenue Agency on inquiries and correspondences relating to client matters

Maintaining great relationships with clients through responsive communication and customer service

Developing and documenting bookkeeping processes for clients while looking for opportunities to streamline workflows

What you will bring to KSSP Partners LLP:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role in an accountancy setting an asset

Personable with great communication skills and attention to detail

Highly organized and comfortable interacting with clients independently

Knowledge of Quick Books Online, Quickbooks for Desktop, or Xero

Enjoy taking on challenges along with researching and implementing new technologies and applications to continuously improve workflows and processes
