We are recruiting a qualified (ICAS, ACA or ACCA) Audit & Assurance Senior to join our Carlisle or Kendal office.

The main purpose of this role will be to complete Audit and Accountancy assignments for the clients and support the wider Audit & Assurance team.

The main elements of this role will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited company clients together with files for Manager/Partner review
• Planning, coordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work
• Liaising with clients to obtain required information
• Ensuring full completion of audit or accounts files for Manager review within appropriate timescale and budget
• Completing sections of the Audit file or entire Audit files, particularly subsidiaries in multi‑entity group audits, as allocated
• Assisting with general administration within the department

We would like candidates to be:

• ICAS / ACA / ACCA qualified
• Comfortable working within a fast‑paced environment
• A dedicated team player, willing to assist colleagues within the team where possible
• Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
• Initiative and excellent organisation/problem‑solving skills
• Keen to become part of a dynamic team
• A Full UK Driving Licence
