We are working with a forward thinking, client focused accountancy practice that is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an experienced qualified accountant to join their team. This is a fully remote position within a supportive and collaborative environment where client service, quality and long term relationships are at the heart of the business. This role would suit an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with solid UK practice experience who enjoys managing their own workload and working directly with clients.
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio, delivering end to end accounting services while operating confidently in a remote setting as part of a wider team. The practice works with a niche client base made up primarily of owner managed limited companies and professional services clients. The focus is on delivering a high quality, personalised service to smaller, relationship led businesses.
- Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience and capability
- Salary review after 12 months, with potential increase to £44,500 based on performance
- Fully remote working arrangement

- Two in person training or team days per year (typically early in the year)
- Performance based recognition and incentives
- Managing a portfolio of clients independently
- Preparation of year end and statutory accounts
- Production and review of management accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
- VAT returns and general compliance work
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Handling day to day client queries and providing clear advice
- Supporting payroll and wider finance tasks where required
- Ensuring deadlines and compliance obligations are met
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in a fully remote environment
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 2 years post qualified UK practice experience
- Strong experience managing client relationships
- Confident handling accounts, tax and VAT work end to end
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Quick Books or similar) desirable
