Inventory Specialist; Social impact

Position: Inventory Specialist (Social impact Sector Experience Required)
Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a fulltime Accounts Manager who can maintain complete books of account and head the department.
He/she should be able to generate various MIS reports, provide monthly accounts finalization with balance sheet/P&L and file various statutory returns (GST, TDS, etc.). The candidate should have deep knowledge of accounting practices as well as statutory compliances such as GST, IT-TDS/TCS, PF, PT, ESI.
We are looking for a self-motivated leader who can:
steer the small Accounts team to being productive and meticulous
independently manage expectations and compliance to company financial norms from all employees
nurture external relationships such as with banks, lenders, debtors/creditors, Accounting and Payroll service providers, statutory bodies e.g. GST, IT departments
act as the fiduciary control function for the company
ensure timely and accurate statutory compliances
double up as the internal auditor
liaise with external auditors for completing annual financial statements and tax audit
prepare Board reports, resolutions and minutes in concert with CS service provider
demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, non-negotiable integrity, team management and ability to independently handle all accounting responsibilities end-to-end without executive intervention

• Oversee inventory management and stock control processes to ensure accuracy and accountability

• Conduct periodic stock verification, reconciliation, and inventory audits

• Monitor inventory movement, identify variances, and implement corrective controls

• Coordinate with stores, procurement, and operations teams for effective inventory planning and reporting

Experience

Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting function
Technology

Skills:

Expert user knowledge of Tally ERP latest version, Remote working of Tally, MS-Office with advanced Excel skills
Language:  Fluent in written and spoken English. Kannada and Hindi highly desirable

Bangalore. Corporate office at Kasturba Road opposite to Cubbon Park Police Station (nearest Metro station: Cubbon Park)
