Our client, a significant multi-national publicly listed company, seeks a Senior Accountant to lead full-cycle accounting for Canadian and US operations. The successful candidate will leverage hands-on experience and solid US GAAP knowledge while collaborating across teams in both countries throughout this contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes

• Assist with audit requests and documentation

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards

Requirements:

• CPA/CA designation required

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• SAP experience preferred
