This is a full time hybrid role for a Senior Tax Accountant based in Peace River, AB, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing tax returns, collaborating in audit and review engagements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analyses, and offering tax planning advice. The role also involves collaboration with clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored solutions.

• Proficiency in Canadian Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax regulations
• Experience conducting assurance engagements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and an aptitude of handling complex data sets
• Experience with Financial Statements and Accounting principles
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to financial detail
• Ability to build and maintain team‑oriented client relationships
• Robust organizational and time‑management skills
• Proficiency in various accounting software and financial tools (including AgExpert, Quickbooks, Sage)
• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) or equivalent experience is considered a strong asset
