Accounts & Tax Senior

I'm delighted to be working with a highly regarded accountancy and advisory practice to recruit an Accounts & Tax Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant or experienced practice professional seeking a varied role with strong client exposure and a clear pathway towards management. Working as part of an established team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting and tax assignments while supporting an impressive portfolio of local businesses and entrepreneurial clients.

The Role This is a client-facing position offering a blend of accounts preparation, tax compliance and advisory work within a modern and progressive practice environment. What You Will Do Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a diverse client base. Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns. Review bookkeeping and VAT work. Assist with management accounts preparation. Support clients with day-to-day accounting and tax queries.

Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Work closely with senior management on advisory assignments. Assist in mentoring junior team members. Requirements ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, part-qualified nearing completion, or qualified by experience. Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment. Strong accounts preparation skills. Experience preparing tax returns and compliance work. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Ability to manage workloads and deadlines effectively.
