Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Accountant who can hit the ground running. You’ll help drive accurate, full-cycle accounting by preparing and analyzing reporting packages, completing reconciliations, and ensuring financial information is consistent, compliant, and reliable. If you’re detail‑focused, proactive, and ready to contribute immediately, we’d love to hear from you.
Required Skills- Minimum 1–2 years in an accounting‑related role
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation or currently working toward an accounting designation
- Strong ability to compile and analyze financial information for accurate accounting entries
- Proven skill in reviewing, investigating, and correcting discrepancies to maintain consistency and accuracy
- Comfort working with financial information relating to assets, liabilities, and capital
- Experience performing reconciliations, including:
- Bank accounts
- Balance sheet accounts
- Intercompany accounts
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and present solutions
- Experience supporting intercompany consolidation and monthly settlement processes
- Knowledge of and ability to maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards (e.g., SOX, FAMM)
- Strong attention to detail—able to review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
- Ability to maintain fixed assets sub‑ledger and ensure fixed asset transactions are submitted to the fixed asset system on a timely basis
- Ability to prepare weekly and monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to act as a subject matter expert to support internal departments
- Ability to complete ad‑hoc projects as required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (required); stronger proficiency is a plus
- Proficiency in AS400 (a plus)
