Position: Experienced Senior Accountant - Hybrid Role
A downtown Vancouver real estate development company seeks an Experienced Senior Accountant for an 18-month contract with a hybrid work environment. Bring your expertise in financial reporting and real estate accounting.

The successful candidate will prepare and review monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis, and support year-end financials. Responsibilities include overseeing trial balance integrity and managing project accounting functions. You will collaborate with external accountants for audits and contribute to budgeting strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly financial statements and budget variance

• Ensure accuracy in trial balance and journal entries

• Coordinate tax filings and audits

• Oversee project cash flow and funding requirements

• Support operational accounting and reporting templates

Requirements:

• Designated CPA or near completion expected

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

• 4–5+ years of real estate accounting experience

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Expertise in financial reporting
