Experienced Senior Accountant

Position: Experienced Senior Accountant - Hybrid Role
Join Armstrong Collective as an Experienced Senior Accountant in a hybrid setting in Vancouver. This position blends technical accounting skills with team leadership and process improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will oversee capital expenditure accounting, maintain inventory integrity, and provide mentorship to junior accountants. Your proactive nature and focus on continuous process improvement will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and audit compliance. Build effective working relationships across departments for streamlined operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare journal entries with precision

• Ensure timely completion of financial closing activities

• Develop and maintain an organized fixed asset register

• Support inventory counts and address discrepancies

• Lead process improvement initiatives in accounting workflows

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Must possess CPA designation

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong understanding of inventory accounting practices

• Experience with accounting software, preferably ERP systems
