The Bookkeeper plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records for our Mission Thrift Stores. You will ensure timely processing of accounts, manage vendor relations, and prepare essential financial reports. This role values integrity and promotes transparency, directly supporting our joint Ministry with Bible League Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and receivable accurately
• Communicate with Store Managers and Board members
• Reconcile cash accounts monthly for accuracy
• Prepare financial reports for Store Boards
• Maintain organized electronic filing systems
Requirements:
• Bookkeeping Certification or related education
• Minimum three years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct, Sage 50, or Quick Books
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
