Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take ownership in a dynamic, international environment?
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Geneva and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across our accounting operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment while contributing to process improvements and cross-border finance activities.
In this position, you will take ownership of key accounting processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including:
- Managing and reconciling daily bank transactions and cash movements
- Maintaining accounts receivable, including dunning procedures, aging analysis, and provisions
- Performing intercompany reconciliations and coordinating cross-charges between entities
- Overseeing fixed asset accounting, including capitalisation and depreciation schedules
- Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes and controls
- Contributing to finance-related projects and system enhancements
We are looking for a hands‑on, reliable professional with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset:
- Commercial background with further training as an Accounting Specialist (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an international or multi‑entity environment
- Solid understanding of Swiss accounting standards (or similar frameworks)
- Strong practical experience in AR/AP, intercompany accounting, bank postings, fixed assets, and VAT
- Confident user of Excel (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
- Fluency in English is required;
German is an advantage - A structured, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
