The successful candidate will be a key member of our team of twelve based in our Belfast office. You will ultimately be responsible for the delivery of accountancy, tax and assurance services to a range of clients across the firm.

This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified Chartered Accountant but applications will be considered from part qualified candidates or those who are qualified by experience.

You will report to a Client Manager.

UHY Hacker Young Fitch is based in Belfast with a presence in Kilkeel. We provide a range of services to both businesses and individuals. We have a number of different specialists who will be able to provide support to you when providing advice to our clients whether the client is looking for general accountancy and tax advice, expertise on growing their business or peace of mind that their finances are taken care of.

Our office hours are 37.5 hours Monday to Friday normally worked within core hours of 8am to 6pm but we provide flexibility. Our dress code is ‘dress for the day’. Your working hours will need to be agreed with your line manager and are subject to the needs of the business and our client expectations.

• A self-motivated, individual who wants to progress within UHY
• Three years or more accountancy, tax and/or audit experience.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting, tax and audit matters (e.g. UK GAAP, FRS
  102, and ISA’s)
• An ability to review existing systems and processes and to make improvements is desirable
• An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing in English
• A professional qualification ACA/ACCA with practice experience
