Payroll Specialist - South Belfast MCS Group are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a well established and growing mid-tier Accountancy Practice. The Role:

As the successful Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for the following:
Manage a diverse portfolio of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls from start to finish. Process all aspects of payroll, including starters, leavers, statutory payments (maternity, sickness, etc.), and payroll amendments. Take ownership of the payroll function, with the opportunity to develop and grow the client portfolio. Submit FPS, EPS, P32s, and ensure full pension and HMRC compliance. Gain wider exposure across the practice during quieter periods, including tax and other accounting services.

The Person :
The successful Payroll Specialist will meet the following criteria:
Proven end-to-end payroll experience, with bureau or accountancy practice experience preferred (industry experience also considered). Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including HMRC submissions, statutory payments, and pension auto-enrolment. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple payrolls to strict deadlines. Motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent client service.
