-based law firm and the legal affiliate of Trademarkia, serving thousands of clients worldwide. We are looking for an exceptional Quick Books Online Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Nagpur and support the accounting operations of our U.S. entities.
This is not an entry-level bookkeeping role. We are seeking someone with expert-level knowledge of   Quick Books Online   , U.S. accounting principles, and complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
The successful candidate will report directly to our Head of Finance and work closely with management on the financial operations of multiple U.S. companies.
Responsibilities    Own the day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple U.S. entities using Quick Books Online.
Perform monthly bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
Maintain clean and audit-ready books.
Review and categorize transactions with minimal supervision.
Prepare month-end close schedules and supporting reconciliations.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Work with U.S. CPAs during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Identify discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues independently.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepaid expense schedules.
Assist with payroll-related accounting entries.
Improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
Generate financial reports for management.

Required Qualifications    5+ years  of professional bookkeeping experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Quick Books Online.
Extensive experience reconciling:
U.S. bank accounts
Credit cards
Merchant accounts
Balance sheet accounts
Intercompany accounts
Strong understanding of:
U.S. GAAP fundamentals
Accrual accounting
Journal entries
Month-end close
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to identify accounting issues before they become problems.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications    Experience working with U.S. law firms or professional services companies.
Experience supporting multiple U.S. entities.
Knowledge of U.S. payroll accounting.

Experience with , Stripe, Expensify, or similar accounting platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
CA Inter, CMA, or similar accounting qualification is a plus.

Compensation   ₹8,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per year   , depending on experience and demonstrated expertise.
Exceptional candidates with extensive U.S. accounting and Quick Books Online experience may be considered for compensation above this range.
Work Location   This is a   full-time, in-office position based in Nagpur, Maharashtra   .
Preference will be given to candidates who already live in or near Nagpur or are willing to relocate.  We believe our finance team collaborates best by working together in person.
