International Payroll Specialist - Belgium

What You’ll Do- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned international markets, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with local stakeholders and payroll providers, while monitoring key deadlines and mitigating risks.
- Perform payroll validations, audit‑compliant checks, year‑end activities, and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Act as a key contact for payroll‑related queries, finance reconciliations, tax submissions, and third‑party payments.
- Lead regular meetings with payroll providers and collaborate with global payroll teams to track and resolve actions and issues.
- Maintain payroll documentation, ensure compliance with local legislation, identify process improvements, and provide support across the wider payroll team as needed.
This role is a hybrid opportunity, offering 1‑2 days Working from home.

What You’ll Bring- 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally including exposure to Belgium payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll operations and compliance.
- Professional payroll accreditation (e.g. CIPP or international equivalent) and knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external providers.
- A proactive, organised, and resilient approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
