Project Accountant at GCS

Position: Project Accountant at GCS Hybrid Role
Elevate your finance career at GCS as a Project Accountant/Bookkeeper in the solar energy sector. Manage investment accounting and collaborate with management in a hybrid setting.

In this role, you will report to the VP of Client Financial Reporting. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, precise month-end processes, and financial oversight. Your expertise with financial standards will ensure compliance with IFRS and/or US GAAP, while working closely with senior management and external auditors to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for various entities

• Facilitate month-end close with detailed reconciliations

• Prepare balance sheets and comprehensive income statements

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards

• Collaborate with management and auditors for accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in accounting operations

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA coursework is a plus

• Proficient in Quick Books and strong with Excel

• Highly organized and adaptable to change

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
