Legal Entity Accountant

Are you a motivated professional looking to work in a dynamic international environment and actively shape future finance processes? Join our Financial Accounting team in Zurich. In this role, you will support the accounting of Vontobel Asset Management US.

• Support the accounting and monthly closing activities of the US legal entity, including journal postings, reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation in the relevant control systems.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax and Compliance.
• Actively support the external audit process, including preparation of audit documentation and responses to audit requests.
• Support finance transformation projects, including SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation and optimization.

• Higher education in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or a commercial apprenticeship with further qualifications in accounting (e.g., Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Certified Fiduciary).
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international and regulated US environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO; experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA and P2P systems (e.g., Basware, Concur) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP) and their application.
• High level of initiative, accountability, and teamwork skills in an international environment.
• Structured, independent, and precise working style with a strong quality mindset.
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.
• Fluent in German and English.
