The UK/US Global Mobility Senior Associate is a full-time role based in London, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for some work from home. The role involves managing UK/US global mobility assignments, including coordinating tax and Social Security aspects for internationally mobile employees. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and preparing tax calculations, supporting cross-border tax compliance, advising on policy and assignment planning, and liaising with clients and assignees to resolve queries.
The Senior Associate will collaborate with colleagues across tax, immigration, and advisory teams, contribute to process improvements, and ensure that client engagements are delivered on time and to high professional standards. The role also includes supporting junior team members, maintaining accurate documentation, and staying current with UK and US tax and mobility regulations.
- Candidates should possess strong Global Mobility experience, including managing UK/US assignments and understanding cross-border tax implications.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex tax and regulatory information and produce accurate calculations and reports.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients and assignees and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Immigration considerations relevant to global mobility, including coordination with immigration specialists and awareness of compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess Consulting capabilities, such as providing practical advice on policies, assignment structures, and mobility strategies that meet client objectives.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, EA, or equivalent) or progress toward such qualifications are highly beneficial.
- Experience in UK and US personal tax, expatriate tax, or international assignments within a professional services environment is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a hybrid working environment are important.
