Are you a motivated professional looking to work in a dynamic international environment and actively shape future finance processes? Join our Financial Accounting team in Zurich and become part of a collaborative and dynamic finance organization. In this role, you will support the accounting of Vontobel Asset Management US. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and have the opportunity to grow your expertise in an international environment.
** What would your role be?
*** Support the accounting and monthly closing activities of the US legal entity, including journal postings, reconciliations and fixed asset accounting
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation in the relevant control systems
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax and Compliance
* Actively support the external audit process, including preparation of audit documentation and responses to audit requests
* Support finance transformation projects, including SAP S/4

HANA implementation and optimization
** What we are looking for?
*** Higher education in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or a commercial apprenticeship with further qualifications in accounting (e.g. Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Certified Fiduciary)
* 4-7 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international and regulated US environment
* Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO; experience with SAP S/4

HANA and P2P systems (e.g. Basware, Concur) is an advantage
* Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP) and their application
* High level of initiative, accountability, and teamwork skills in an international environment
* Structured, independent, and precise working style with a strong quality mindset
* Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.
* Fluent in German and English
