Position: Senior Accountant Hybrid Role North York
Become a key player as a Senior Accountant in North York with a hybrid work model. This 9-month term offers a chance to utilize your CPA skills and manage full-cycle accounting.

Our client seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and operations. Ideal candidates will have a CPA designation or are CPA candidates nearing certification, with at least 4 years of accounting experience. Responsibilities include payroll management using Quick Books, audit preparation, tax filings, and supporting business planning and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes

• Manage payroll for approximately 20 staff in Quick Books Online

• Prepare corporate tax compliance filings efficiently

• Assist with audit preparation and documentation support

• Oversee intercompany transactions and total monthly transactions

Requirements:

• Preferred CPA designation; CPA candidates accepted

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Proficiency in Quick Books and Quick Books Online

• Strong understanding of ASPE standards

• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Pivot Tables
