In this role, you ll play a key part in maintaining the integrity of freight payment operations for a well-established organization. Working alongside transportation and finance teams, you ll help resolve invoice discrepancies, support month-end activities, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities Review and validate freight invoices to ensure all billing information is complete and accurate.
Match invoices to shipment records, verify billable events, and confirm charges align with contractual agreements.
Assign appropriate GL codes and process invoices accurately using designated freight payment systems.
Respond promptly to carrier inquiries, resolving billing discrepancies within established service standards.
Prepare and reconcile monthly carrier accruals, resolve aged items, and review month-end robotics program outputs for accuracy.
Collaborate with internal transportation teams to resolve invoice and rate concerns while supporting additional projects and ad hoc requests.
Skills and Qualifications Previous transportation industry experience is required.
Experience with freight invoicing, invoice validation, and transportation billing processes.
Experience with GL coding, account reconciliations, and financial accuracy.
Knowledge of freight contracts and transportation billing terms is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, high-volume billing activities.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
