Intermediate Accountant

Position: Intermediate Accountant Hybrid Role
Become part of Pay By Phone 's finance team as an Intermediate Accountant in Vancouver, BC. This hybrid position focuses on financial analysis, cash management, and general ledger responsibilities.

At Pay By Phone , we are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to enhance our financial operations. You'll collaborate closely with the Accounting team, exercise discretion, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

This role offers the opportunity to solve data problems, manage cash flow, and support month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in timely preparation of financial reports

• Maintain manual and computerized data systems

• Balance Sheet reconciliations and month-end processing

• Process online payments and manage credit card administration

• Support audit preparation and financial security processes

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role

• Accounting diploma and degree required

• Enrollment in CPA program, or desire to pursue

• Experience with in different currencies reconciliation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
