Position: Accountant for Promotions at PMA
PMA is seeking an Accountant focused on Promotions and Accounts Receivable for a 7-month contract. This hybrid role includes 4 days in-office and 1 day remote work.

As an Accountant at Peter Mielzynski Agencies LTD, you will handle accounting for promotional chargebacks and receivables. Your responsibilities involve accurate invoicing, journal entries, supplier reconciliations, and cash applications. This position also includes its oversight with financial controls to ensure audit readiness and effective communication with suppliers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate promotional chargebacks and invoicing

• Prepare A&P journal and adjustment entries

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Manage cash applications for payments

• Oversee monthly sales tax reporting process

Requirements:

• Business Degree focused on accounting

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Canadian Accounting designation in progress

• Strong Microsoft Office and ERP systems skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
