Manager, Cloud Accounting Services

• Lead client engagements across cloud accounting, operational finance, and advisory services.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, including owners, executive directors, finance leaders, and municipal staff.
• Deliver fractional controller and CFO‑for‑hire services such as cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional advisory and project work.
• Oversee month‑end and quarter‑end close processes for complex clients.
• Review working papers, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Plan and manage engagement timelines, staffing, and budgets.
• Ensure work is delivered efficiently using cloud‑based technologies and standardized workflows.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior team members.
• Allocate work, review outputs, and provide clear, practical feedback.
• Support performance development through coaching, on‑the‑job learning, and file review processes.
• Contribute to building a strong, collaborative team culture.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
• Support the adoption of new tools, processes, and AI‑enabled workflows.
• Assist with proposals, scoping, and pricing of client work where appropriate.
• Share knowledge and practical insights across the team.

• A passion for technology and innovative thinking.
• CPA or CPB designation, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years accounting‑related experience.
• Quick Books Pro Advisor and Xero certification.
• Experience with Dext, Plooto, and Hubdoc.
• Experience with cloud‑based payroll, payment processing, and CRMs preferred, including Wagepoint and Payworks.
• Superior technical expertise in accounting for privately held businesses; public‑listed company experience is an asset.
• Strong management skills in scheduling, organizing, supervising, and collaborating across teams.

• Competitive salary range $78,700–$108,000 in South Surrey; may differ by location.
