Position: Financial Controller Role
Lead financial operations at Velixo as a skilled Financial Controller, managing accounting processes from Canada. This remote position emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and strategic growth.

As the Financial Controller at Velixo, you will report to the VP of Finance and take charge of leading our accounting team. This critical role involves ensuring timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and collaborating cross-functionally across our global organization. You will leverage AI tools to enhance processes while upholding stringent compliance and auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual report preparation

• Manage all core accounting functions, including payroll and accounts receivable

• Establish and maintain internal controls for compliance

• Serve as the main contact for auditors and tax advisors

• Optimize financial systems and processes through automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

• CPA designation required

• Minimum 5 years of accounting leadership experience

• Proficient in IFRS and CAD GAAP

• Strong communication skills are essential
