Senior Accountant

WE’RE HIRING! Part-Time Senior Accountant (Potential to turn to full time employment)

Location:

Mirfield (open to the ideal candidate working from home after the first month)

Hours:

15-22.5 hours per week Salary: £29-36k (Pro rata) dependent on experience We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing practice on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced qualified practice accountant who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality accounts and tax work. We would also consider someone qualified by experience with 8 years experience in practice.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
* Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns.
* Reviewing client records and resolving accounting queries.
* Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and explain financial results.
* Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. About You The successful candidate will have:
* AAT qualification (or qualified by significant practice experience).
* A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and corporation tax.
* Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero & Quick Books.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* The ability to manage your own workload and work with minimal supervision.
* Strong communication and client relationship skills.
