Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

Position Summary

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting activities of one or more Jet Aviation entities within the Shared Services Accounting team. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while contributing to efficient accounting processes and supporting business objectives.

• Manage Accounts: handle general accounting tasks, including preparing and reconciling financial statements and VAT declarations.

  Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in accordance with US GAAP standards.
• Reporting & Analysis:
  Prepare, record, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting records.
• Ensure Compliance:
  Maintain accurate records and verify transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
• Accounts Payable:
  Record accounts payable transactions, including employee expense reports.
• Support Audits:
  Assist in internal and external audits and contribute to various projects as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address all financial accounting-related matters.

Flexible Work Environment:
After completing the probation period, employees have the opportunity to work from home for up to two days per week, depending on business and team requirements.

• Commercial accounting education and 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within an international environment
• Knowledge in US GAAP, with a deep understanding of accounting and reporting processes
• Knowledge in Dutch accounting is a plus
• Fluent English skills, German or French language skills are a plus
• Proficient in MS Office and strong SAP experience
• Results-driven and customer-focused, with high personal accountability and strong business and financial acumen
