Accounts Payable Supervisor

Position: Accounts Payable Supervisor Hybrid Role
Lead the accounts payable team at Toronto Community Housing in a hybrid work environment. Oversee payment processes, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with established policies.

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will report directly to the Manager, Accounts Payable, and work in a high-volume setting.

Your role focuses on supervising clerks, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments, and streamlining accounts payable operations. Experience in a union environment is preferred, along with strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily accounts payable transactions for accuracy

• Oversee vendor account reconciliations performed by the team

• Improve accounts payable processes and controls

• Ensure timely payments and maintain service quality

• Train and develop the accounts payable team

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, accounting, or finance

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in Accounts Payable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced technical skills in Excel and MS Office

• Excellent client service and communication skills
