Operational Finance Accountant

Drive operational finance as an analytical accountant based in Halifax. Support two manufacturing sites with WIP continuity, costing, and variance analysis—all while enjoying a remote work model.

We're seeking a detail-oriented accountant with 3-7+ years of experience in finance or accounting. Your analytical skills will be crucial for financial reporting, month-end close, and operational activity analysis. Strong Excel capabilities and ERP experience will enable you to dig deep into data for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own WIP continuity and month-end financial reconciliations

• Conduct financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities

• Investigate production and cost variances for detailed insights

• Analyze cost drivers and operational activities across both sites

• Ensure accuracy across diverse data systems and sources

Requirements:

• 3-7+ years in accounting or finance roles

• Strong experience in reconciliations and variance analysis

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems

• Detail-oriented with ownership over your work

• Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program Security Clearance
