We're looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join our client’s Finance team, supporting financial performance, delivering insightful analysis and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Be DoingAs Management Accountant, you'll work closely with the Financial Controller and wider business teams to deliver accurate reporting, robust financial controls and meaningful financial insight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, reporting packs and variance analysis
- Managing month-end activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Analysing costs, margins, profitability and business performance
- Leading intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations and controls
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
- Assisting with statutory reporting, audits and compliance requirements
- Providing financial support and insight to Operations, Sales and other stakeholders
- Driving finance process improvements and supporting transformation initiatives
- Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Management or Financial Accounting
- Experience preparing management accounts and month-end reporting
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP systems
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Intercompany accounting and reconciliations experience
- Knowledge of Power BI or financial reporting tools
- Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement projects
