The RoleThis opportunity would suit an experienced practice accountant who enjoys the breadth of general practice and values becoming a trusted adviser to a portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
You will manage your own client portfolio, delivering a professional and personal service whilst working closely with colleagues across the practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP - FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Preparing quarterly management accounts for selected clients.
- Managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors.
- Building long-term client relationships and acting as their first point of contact.
- Providing practical accounting support throughout the financial year.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting with their development.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Knowledge of Personal and / or Corporate Tax would be advantageous, however, it is by no means essential.
About YouYou are likely to be ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, with your experience gained within an accountancy practice.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Experience producing management accounts for a varied client portfolio.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- Salary of £53,000 - £65,000
, dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications. Salary banding is a guide set by Fletcher George. - Performance-related bonus.
