Accounts Clerk

Imperial Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join a busy Finance team based in Chesterfield.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Processing stock and non-stock supplier invoices
Allocating invoices to the correct ledger and general ledger codes
Resolving supplier invoice and payment queries
Reconciling supplier statements
Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
Maintaining accurate supplier account records
Reconciling company credit card statements and receipts

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Accounts or Purchase Ledger role
A good understanding of accounting principles and purchase ledger processes
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
An AAT qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
