Novex connects payroll, funding, compliance, invoicing and workforce operations into a single operational environment for staffing businesses.
Rather than replacing existing systems, we connect them, giving agencies greater visibility over cash flow, payroll, compliance and day-to-day operations. Our platform helps staffing businesses reduce operational friction, improve decision making and build more resilient businesses.
As more agencies adopt Novex, we're expanding our operations team.
The RoleWe're looking for Payroll & Finance Administrators to help deliver the operational processes that our clients rely on every day.
This isn't a role focused on one repetitive task. You'll work across payroll, finance and operational administration, helping ensure workers are paid accurately, invoices are raised correctly and the operational processes behind our clients' businesses run smoothly.
You'll work closely with experienced colleagues while building knowledge across payroll, finance and workforce operations. As Novex continues to grow, so will the opportunity to develop your responsibilities and career.
What You Will Be DoingYou'll support a range of operational activities, including:
- Processing weekly payrolls and resolving payroll queries
- Collecting and validating timesheets and outstanding hours
- Processing new starters and payroll documentation
- Raising sales invoices and supporting purchase ledger activities
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Producing payroll and margin reporting
- Supporting clients with day-to-day operational queries
- Assisting the finance team with weekly operational and administrative processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes as the business continues to scale
No two weeks are exactly the same. The role develops alongside the business, giving you exposure to multiple areas of payroll, finance and operational delivery.
About YouYou'll likely have experience in payroll, finance, bookkeeping or a detailed administrative role where accuracy and organisation are essential.
You'll also be someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes ownership of their work
- Communicates confidently with clients and colleagues
- Enjoys solving problems and improving processes
- Works well in a collaborative environment
- Wants to build a long-term career within a growing business
Previous payroll experience is beneficial, but we value attitude, organisation and willingness to learn just as highly.
Working PatternYour initial training will be office-based so you can get to know the business, our systems and the wider team. Following successful training, we'll introduce hybrid working, allowing you to combine office and home working.
We're also happy to discuss flexible working arrangements where possible.
What We Offer- Competitive salary based on experience
- Performance-related bonus
- Enhanced annual leave
- Hybrid working after training
- Full training on Novex systems and operational processes
- A supportive, collaborative working environment
- Direct exposure to senior leadership
- Genuine opportunities for progression as the business grows
Operational excellence sits at the centre of everything we do. The work our team delivers keeps staffing businesses moving. Every payroll processed, invoice raised and operational process completed contributes to agencies paying workers on time, maintaining compliance and operating with confidence.
If you're looking for a role where your work has real operational impact, and where you can grow alongside an ambitious business, we'd love to hear from you.
