Practice Accountant

Location: Thurmaston

THE COMPANY:

This company is an Accountancy Practice based in Leicester and have been established for over 8 years. They have forged a niche within the market where they serve clients from start-ups to those with a turnover up to £3 Million, and through a close alliance with another firm, are able to offer the whole range of accounting services.

THE ROLE:

This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. The role will include:

* Managing a diverse client portfolio.

* Attending client meetings.

* Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

* Corporation tax calculations.

* Completing complex management account accounts, bookkeeping and VAT.

* Overseeing basic bookkeeping and VAT returns of more junior staff.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you need to have no less than 3 years’ experience of working with Practice, and preferably an ACA/ ACCA Qualification. You need to be comfortable with working on your own and also as part of a team.
