Barrie Assistant Controller for Manufacturing

In this role, you will support the Finance Director in managing the company’s financial operations. Responsibilities include analyzing costs, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with production teams to ensure data accuracy. This position requires full-time on-site presence at the Barrie plant, with some remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production costs and variances

• Monitor inventory and participate in financial closings

• Prepare financial statements and forecasts

• Collaborate across departments for accurate data

• Contribute to internal controls improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation (completed or in progress)

• 3-7 years experience in accounting

• Strong ERP system proficiency

• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
