Accounts Payable Clerk

Position: Accounts Payable Clerk Hybrid Role
Join Teck as an Accounts Payable Clerk in the heart of Toronto. This full-time hybrid role focuses on timely invoice payments and effective communication with vendors.

In this key position reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing daily accounts payable tasks, including coding and entering invoices, as well as preparing journal entries and reconciliations. Your 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting will be vital, along with your commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily accounts payable activities efficiently

• Authorize invoices per company policy

• Conduct reconciliations for general ledger accounts

• Generate reports for the Senior Accountant

• Resolve inquiries from vendors and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of AP or finance experience

• Relevant educational background in Accounting or Finance

• Understanding of AP procedures

• Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience preferred

• Strong time management and organizational skills
