A well-regarded independent accountancy practice in Northampton is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Manager to join its team.

This is a key role within the firm, offering a mix of audit, accounts and client advisory work, with responsibility for managing your own portfolio and supporting the development of junior staff.

You will work closely with partners and have real visibility within the firm, making it a strong option for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Review statutory accounts and support clients with day-to-day queries
• Act as a main point of contact for clients
• Support, mentor and review the work of junior staff
• Work closely with partners on client delivery and development

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong background in audit within UK accountancy practice
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing work
• Confident supporting and developing junior staff
• Looking to progress within a collaborative, independent firm environment
